I think the only places you would see this getting used now is due to the cycling and as cyclers go this is one of the weaker ones
Covering both targeted removal and the abilities of planeswalkers gives you decent protection, though its a shame this was printed before Wizards introduced ward

But if you want to swap into a deck which has synergies around non-creature spells and expensive cards, its going to need a completely different mix of playables
This is because there's another Booster Fun version of Okoa borderless versionand in general, our heuristic is to maintain the relative ratios of "Booster Fun versions of Oko" with "Booster Fun versions of other mythic rares." This means that if a card has multiple Booster Fun treatments, you're less likely to open any particular version, but you're just as likely to open a Booster Fun version of Oko as any other card overall
Even if you dont have anything to trigger by gaining life, passively gaining life and drawing cards for playing your deck is awesome
